Summary:
The Group Activity Coordinator is a member of the Interdisciplinary team that works under the direction of the Inpatient Clinical Manager. This person works with unit leadership to bring forth a set programming curriculum to patients receiving care on inpatient units. The Group Activity Coordinator role is to be responsible for managing a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic group room that embodies the Philosophy of Care of Acadia hospital and demonstrates a commitment to creating a culture of caring.
Responsibilities
:
- Works with Clinical Manager and/or Program Specialist to bring forward curriculum based in Collaborative Problem Solving to the patients in a safe and caring environment.
- Serve as a group room safety representative and is responsible for ensuring environmental safety of the group rooms is being adhered to.
- Work with unit leadership to help identify areas of improvement and growth for group programming, unit processes, and policy.
