Arkatechture is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead to design, build, and deliver complex custom data and software solutions for Arkalytics customers through project-based Statements of Work (SOWs). This role serves as a senior technical contributor and leader within the Custom Services engineering lane, responsible for architecting ETL/ELT data pipelines, developing scalable automation, integrating APIs, and solving advanced data engineering challenges across customer environments.

In addition to hands‑on technical delivery, the Senior Engineer will play a key role in developing and supporting the growth of other engineers within the lane. This includes providing technical guidance and mentorship, helping engineers strengthen their skills and capabilities, and promoting consistent engineering standards and best practices. The Senior Engineer will also partner closely with the head of the lane to continuously improve the team’s day‑to‑day operations by refining processes, documentation, technical standards, and tooling.

The Senior Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, analysts, engineers, and clients to translate requirements into effective technical solutions while ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and long‑term maintainability. The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on engineering experience with modern data platforms, strong Python development skills, a track record of delivering production‑grade solutions in cloud environments, and the ability to lead and develop other engineers while driving continuous improvement across the team.

• Take full accountability for assigned SOW tasks and deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery, quality execution, and high customer satisfaction
• Analyze and resolve technical challenges within SOW scope by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions while adhering to change management procedures
• Gather requirements for data pipeline integration (ELT) development and data mapping (business logic)
• Drive the data discovery and file requirements process
