Bangor, ME (242 Miller St, Bangor, ME)
Schedule:
Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri (4 days a week). Start time between 1 AM–5 AM; 10 hours per shift; 40 hours per week.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
- Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
- Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.
- Must have a CDL-Class A license and at least 6 months of proven safe driving experience.
- Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).
- Must successfully pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
- FMCSA’s Clearinghouse Registration required. Link to get started provided: FMSCA.
- Customer‑oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
- Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions. DOT requirement to check the last 10 years.
- Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
- Basic understanding of temperature‑controlled food transportation.
- Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times. Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
- Hourly payrate: $33 per hour.
