What You’ll Do
  • Fleet & Dispatch Management
  • Provide daily management and guidance to driver teams.
  • Coordinate and execute driver assignments, route planning, and load schedules.
  • Continuous communication with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service.
  • Driver Management & Training
  • Manage, coach, and support all driver team members.
  • Perform driver onboarding and ongoing driver training to promote safety, compliance, and professional development.
  • Communicate and uphold company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Maintenance & Safety Oversight
  • Facilitate preventive maintenance and repair schedulings to keep fleet vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely service.
  • Promote fleet safety, compliance, and DOT requirements; proactively address issues and incidents.
  • Operational Support
  • Track key performance indicators, fuel usage, safety reporting metrics, and driver hours.
  • Work with team and drivers to proactively improve key metrics.
  • Support new customer onboarding processes to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate on process and customer communication enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
  • Prior experience managing or supervising drivers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and fleet compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with dispatching systems, routing software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
  • $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
