ResponsibilitiesSUMMARY: The Supervisor Material Logistics is responsible for ensuring all warehouse activities are completed timely and accurately. This includes being responsible for receiving material, inventory management (proper placement into bins and overstock area that are managed per the inventory system); the material is picked accurately, properly packaged and processed in system accurately and timely; that random cycle counts be initiated to ensure site inventory is accurate).
After the proper job material has been picked and properly packaged, it must be staged in a safe manner that is recorded for future callout. The position requires that delivery vehicles are properly loaded with current EHS standards and are properly complied with; that the scheduling of delivery and or pickup of material is being completed in accordance to the customer needs;
must be proficient in the use of computer systems. Current systems include:
Outlook, Word, Excel, KGPCo software packages (NAV, SIIM) and Customer Inventory systems. Other general warehouse tasks may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervisor to all warehouse personnel under their organizational chart
- Verifies and validates that all warehouse processes are completed accurately and timely
- When issues are found, root cause analysis should be used in conjunction with contacting manager with problems so that they are resolved in a timely and proper manner
- Oversees the scheduling of delivery or pick up for material from customer site
- Receives material
- Stages and packages material
- Delivery of goods to and from customer site
- Computer knowledge required, computer processing required
- Computer software will comprise of KGPCo NAV, SIIM and SIIMweb. Microsoft Outlook and Excel and customer software are also used on a daily basis
- KGPCo material to be returned to stock, should be identified as such and have the proper completed paperwork
- KGPCo material being returned as defective or for return to the supplier for credit should be identified as such and have the proper completed paperwork
- Customer material that is required to be returned to reclamation should be identified as such and have the proper completed paperwork
EHS Responsibilities
Performs site EHS requirements as directed.
- Daily forklift safety checks
- Vehicle safety check list
- Other safety checks as directed
Supervisory Responsibility
Responsible for warehouse personnel
SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGPCo Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
- Participate in job site safety and hazard analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Capable of performing calculations involving American currency and standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
- The ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
