Position DescriptionThe Supply Warehouse Lead manages the issue, receipt, return, and tracking of requisition and inventory status for individual equipment, uniforms/organizational clothing, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological (C ) equipment supporting approximately 1,300 Marines and Navy personnel. Aligned to the Supply Technician labor category, this role directs warehouse operations and supervises Warehouse Specialists within the functional area.
Essential Position Functions- Manage the receipt, storage, and issue of equipment, materials, and supplies; compile stock records and verify receipts against requisitions and invoices.
- Enter transactions and manage the Government Individual Equipment inventory control program; maintain signed individual custody records.
- Oversee warehouse management, inventory, inspection, and assessment of C gear for approximately 600 Navy MAA personnel.
- Prepare and deliver the Marine and MAA Individual Equipment Issue Report, C Equipment Inventory Report, and Marine and Navy Warehouse Inventory Report (CDRLs A015, A016, A028).
- Perform Care of Material in Storage (COMIS), shelf‑life management, and prepare the COMIS Inventory Report (CDRL A031).
- Conduct and oversee physical inventories at required frequencies, including monthly and quarterly 100% inventories by the independent inventory team.
- Coordinate disposition and excess material processing with DRMO/DLA Disposition Services.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in warehouse management, tracking inventory of equipment and materials in multiple locations, issuing, receipt, and disposition of equipment and material.
- Current, or the ability to obtain, a Secret security clearance.
- Advanced Office Automation/PC keyboarding skills, advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience, and advanced office management skills.
The Supply Warehouse Lead demonstrates strong inventory control, warehouse management, and supply accountability skills. This role requires knowledge of supply directives, custody record‑keeping, and the ability to supervise warehouse staff while maintaining high inventory accuracy.
Physical Requirements for the roleThis position is performed primarily in a warehouse and light industrial environment. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and the ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, sometimes with mechanical assistance such as pallet jacks or forklifts. The role also requires the ability to work at a computer for data entry.

Supervisory responsibilitiesSupervises Warehouse Specialists within the Supply and Warehouse functional area.
The work environment is primarily a warehouse, magazine, and light industrial setting with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions when conducting transport, range, and outdoor operations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel‑toed footwear and foul/cold weather gear, is required. Work supports adherence to established safety, security, and organizational policies.

CompensationCompensation is set in accordance with the applicable Service Contract Act Wage Determination (WD , Rev. 30)
