Missions

The ATSEMs in the city of Bagneux carry out their duties under the authority of a team leader present at the school group. They are themselves under the hierarchy of a school sector manager at the Maintenance Department. The ATSEMs are made available to the school director during class times, according to the job description and the current schedules. They are responsible for the maintenance of the premises, in liaison with the maintenance staff during school holidays.

MISSIONS:
Educational assistance to teaching staff for the reception, animation, accompaniment, and hygiene of young children during class times and pedagogical breaks. To be a full member of the school's educational community. Preparation and cleaning of the premises and the equipment directly used by the children, ensuring compliance with the hygiene standards in force.

ACTIVITIES:

Welcome, guide the children and accompany them during pedagogical workshops and motor skills courses. Manage breaks and meals: dressing for recess, journey to the dining room, table setting, and helping children during their meals in collaboration with the after-school animators. Accompany the children to the toilets, promote the acquisition of cleanliness, and provide bodily care to the children. Dress the children after their nap.

Carry out cleaning, maintenance, and tidying up of the premises, equipment used for different activities, dormitories, beds, and school toilets.

REQUIRED PROFILE: CAP Early Childhood or CAP of Early Childhood Educational Assistant mandatory and experience with young children, especially as an ATSEM. Knowledge of the psychology of young children and the ability to accompany them during their daily activities in respect of their development. Practice of educational benevolence indispensable. Knowledge and application of hygiene and safety rules related to the handling of cleaning products as well as HACCP rules of catering.

Knowledge of the products used and the cleaning devices handled. Methodical and having a sense of organization.

Art. L332-8 provision 2 of the general code of public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
