DeliveryDriver Responsibilities
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery; vehicle must be registered and insured.
- Possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within a delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
- Assist with inside tasks periodically such as food preparation, cleaning, and other general job duties for all team members.
- Operate all equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and facility daily.
- Complete orientation and on‑the‑job training as provided.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers and give correct written instructions.
- Perform arithmetic accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Use motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers for rapid, precise movements; navigate delivery routes efficiently.
- Adhere to safety standards: stay aware of weather, temperature, fumes, dust, and hazards such as hot surfaces or sharp edges.
$20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage.
Physical RequirementsStanding, walking, and sometimes sitting at a workspace.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds (cases of ingredients and supplies); stacking onto shelves up to 72”.
- Carrying up to 30 pounds occasionally (pizza sauce) and trays of pizza dough up to 12 pounds per tray.
- Pushing or pulling trays up to 30” with up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance.
- Bending and stooping at the pizza assembly station; repeated continuously during the day.
- Crouching and squatting to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching above 72” to operate ovens, change price signs, or lift items from shelves.
- Hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination and forceful pinching (e.g., shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel).
- Operating tools including pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Have a minimum of two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation proving this history.
- Un‑suspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years within the last two years.
- No more than one violation and one at‑fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at‑fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years.
- Moving citations count as violations; seat‑belt and inoperable brake‑light citations do not.
- No serious or major violations in the past five years.
- Periodic delivery vehicle inspection required; vehicle must pass inspection for headlights, tires, mirrors, lights, brake pressure, windshield wipers, doors, backup lights, horn, safety belt, etc.
