Municipal Engineer Opportunity

Opportunity to work with communities to design and plan their local municipal projects. Be a part of a close team in a small community in Wisconsin.

Role / Responsibilities:

• Preparation of plans for streets and utilities using Civil3D software
• Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
• Construction observation and administration of projects
• Preparation of regulatory permit applications for projects
• Preparation of technical reports for projects
• Project-related client contact by telephone, email and in person
• Development of project funding packages with assistance from funding staff
• Project management including successfully completing projects on time and on budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with two years of civil engineering experience is required
• The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of previous municipal engineering experience including design and construction of streets and utilities
• Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role
• Civil 3D experience preferred
• EIT / PE license would be a plus
