CompensationThe hourly base pay range for this position is $9–$11 per hour plus $5–$10 per hour in tips.
Work ScheduleThe work schedule can include AM/PM shift times.

SummaryThe Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Duties include parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pickup of luggage during arrival and departure.
Essential Functions- Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients (25%).
- Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location; practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette (10%).
- Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage (20%).
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions; delivers messages, items, and/or guest amenities (10%).
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival; issues and collects claim checks; maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, and damage survey; calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed (35%).

- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Licensure:
Valid driver’s license for the state where the job is located. - Experience:
One month of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge:
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Skills:
Ability to read and write standard English; understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations; perform basic arithmetic with money; understand 24‑hour and military time systems; perform rates applicable to time passed; operate a manual transmission; perform parallel parking.
The job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions and checked frequently. Decisions are made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods; may be required to run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision; adjustment of focus. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly. Majority of work performed outdoors in extreme heat and cold.

Travel up to 5% may be required.
