Production Operator (Packers) – Night shiftPay up to $24.00/hour.

About the RoleThe Operator Packer is responsible for preparing packaging, packaging finished product, conducting quality inspections, and interacting with the ERP system. Other duties include assisting in setting up the line, making minor process adjustments, housekeeping, and special projects assigned by the supervisor such as sorting, reworking, and grinding.
Responsibilities- Inspect parts and record according to inspection requirements.
- Package and label according to packaging instructions.
- Remove all old tooling and return it to designated areas; clean up the area and prepare for the next job.
- Cleans, sweeps, and organizes the workstation(s).
- Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Inspect products and materials at various points during the manufacturing process for quality.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Previous manufacturing or technical experience preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively use the computer.
- Can work in a fast‑paced environment with a can‑do attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Standing or walking most of a 12‑hour shift, bending, squatting, and twisting several times an hour, frequent lifting.
- Lifting:
Occasional (light, up to 10 lbs.), Frequent (medium, up to 30 lbs.), Constant (several times per shift). - Physical demands include occasional, frequent, and constant tasks such as carrying, standing, walking, kneeling, and mild noise and temperature changes.
