Injection Molding Technician / Set-Up
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician / Set-Up professional for an established manufacturing organization in the Baraboo, Wisconsin area. This position plays a key role in supporting daily injection molding operations, including mold changes, machine start-up and shutdown, process performance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on injection molding experience along with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes, coordinate production resources, support employee training, and help maintain consistent quality and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift: Day Shift -- Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform injection mold set-ups, machine start-ups, shutdowns, sampling, and related production changeover activities
- Monitor molding equipment and processes to promote optimal machine performance, product quality, material utilization, and production efficiency
- Troubleshoot injection molding equipment, tooling, materials, and supporting production systems to address operational or quality issues
- Coordinate day-to-day people and equipment resources within the injection molding operation to support schedule attainment, yield, and on-time production
- Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and process consistency
- Assist with the training, coaching, and development of employees to support safe work practices, production standards, and operational expectations
- Monitor molded-product quality and make appropriate process adjustments to maintain established specifications
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other supporting functions to resolve production issues and maintain workflow
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience setting, starting, and sampling injection molds
- Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, molds, and polymer materials
- Experience troubleshooting injection molding equipment and associated manufacturing processes
- Forklift operation certification
- Overhead crane certification
- Working knowledge of manufacturing support functions, including quality and supply chain
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment and make timely decisions when complete information may not be available
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
