The Restaurant & Retail Marketing & Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for increasing customer traffic, restaurant sales, retail sales, event attendance, tours, and overall guest engagement at Driftless Glen Distillery.
This position focuses on creating reasons for people to visit Driftless Glen, experience Driftless Glen, spend more while they are here, and come back again.
The Coordinator will work closely with the restaurant, retail, events, and management teams to develop and promote experiences that drive on-site revenue and strengthen Driftless Glen as a destination in the Wisconsin Dells/Baraboo area.
This position is focused on marketing and guest growth—not day-to-day restaurant operations.
Guest Experience & Events Position SummaryThe Restaurant & Retail Marketing & Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for increasing customer traffic, restaurant sales, retail sales, event attendance, tours, and overall guest engagement at Driftless Glen Distillery.

The Coordinator will work closely with the restaurant, retail, events, and management teams to develop and promote experiences that drive on-site revenue and strengthen Driftless Glen as a destination in the Wisconsin Dells/Baraboo area.

Primary Responsibilities Customer Growth- Develop ideas and promotions to increase restaurant and distillery visitation.
- Create strategies to attract local customers, tourists, and repeat guests.
- Develop partnerships with hotels, tourism organizations, local businesses, attractions, and event venues.
- Create seasonal promotions designed to increase traffic during slower periods.
- Develop customer loyalty and repeat-visit initiatives.
- Track customer traffic and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain an annual Driftless Glen event calendar.
- Plan and promote tastings, cocktail classes, whiskey dinners, release parties, holiday events, and other experiences.
- Help develop new events that can become recurring Driftless Glen traditions.
- Coordinate event logistics with the internal team.
- Promote private parties, corporate events, celebrations, and group experiences.
- Track event attendance, revenue, and profitability.
- Promote restaurant specials, seasonal offerings, cocktails, and dining experiences.
- Create campaigns around holidays, weekends, special occasions, and seasonal tourism.
- Work with the restaurant team to identify opportunities to increase traffic and sales.
- Help increase reservations, walk‑in traffic, and repeat customers.
- Develop creative ways to pair the restaurant experience with the distillery.
- Develop promotions to increase bottle shop and merchandise sales.
- Create gift packages, seasonal promotions, and special retail experiences.
- Promote tours and tastings.
- Help turn restaurant and tour guests into retail customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall guest experience.
- Build relationships with local businesses and tourism partners.
- Promote Driftless Glen through local events and community partnerships.
- Coordinate with the Brand & Marketing Manager on larger brand campaigns.
- Manage the day‑to‑day promotion of on‑site events and experiences.
- Utilize social media, email marketing, local media, tourism channels, and partnerships to drive traffic.

- 2+ years of hospitality, restaurant, event management, tourism, retail, or marketing experience preferred.

- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to build relationships with local businesses and community partners.
