Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing – Nursing is seeking a travel nursing Credential – RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13‑week assignment in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, and collaboration with the clinical team. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, NRP, and a minimum of one year recent Labor and Delivery experience.

• Minimum one year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)
• Other certifications and licenses applicable

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations
• Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilization
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence‑based protocols
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Collaborate with hospital policies, state laws and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties within scope

• Physical ability to stand, move equipment (50‑100 lb), push, pull, bend
