Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role Overview:

Provides direct, patient-centered nursing care in a medical-surgical setting according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

• Utilize nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life, develop individualized care plans, and assess patient needs across physical, cultural, social, and spiritual dimensions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to set goals, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Serve as a mentor and role model to colleagues and students, applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
• Ensure safety and compliance, potentially perform point-of-care testing, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; no prior experience required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical ability to perform essential tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and patient mobility.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification for the respective state.
