Famous Footwear is your place for athletic, fashion and casual shoes for the whole family from hundreds of name brands. This role is a seasonal position focused on delivering an excellent store experience and staying informed about trends to engage customers.

• Ace Retail Operations:
  You will ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in, keeping the store clean, organized, and the famous styles easily shoppable.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer:
  Embody the behaviors that power our Customer Connection and provide stellar customer engagement with attentiveness and determination to deliver the styles and brands customers crave.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era:
  Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to achieve goals. Communicate clearly with the entire store team and use active listening to ensure understanding among teammates.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to meet the needs of the business. Overtime hours may be required.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store
• Positive communication with store associates at all levels
• Independent judgment and discretion when partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours

• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs from floor level to above shoulder height with proper technique
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods
