Fleet Maintenance Technician
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Conduct annual and required inspections per regulations, diagnose malfunctions, and execute repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and more. Follow documentation procedures, develop diagnostic skills, and utilize electrical testing and welding as needed.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED, technical training in medium/heavy-duty trucks, with 2+ years of experience or equivalent. Valid driver’s license required. Certifications in inspections, brake systems, and HVAC preferred; ASE certifications are a plus.
SkillsProficiency in diagnostic software, electrical systems, welding, and tools. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, safety regulations, and ability to operate various equipment. Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work in diverse environments, and perform repetitive tasks.
Key DutiesConduct vehicle inspections, perform repairs, diagnose issues, document work, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Work outdoors and in various conditions, maintaining vehicle fleet health and safety standards.
