Overview
The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Baraboo, WI, is now hiring for a part-time Shuttle Driver to assist with guest transportation around the area. Ideal candidates will have previous company driving experience, weekend availability, familiarity with the surrounding area, and enjoy engaging with guests. This position will be a hybrid role between being a Shuttle Driver and General Hotel Maintenance Person.
Responsibilities- With this position, a valid Driver's License is required to operate the company shuttle; a background check and driving record must meet the approval of our company standards and insurance company.
- Safely transport guests in the shuttle to local areas and events.
- Assist guests with luggage or other items, provide directions, and offer recommendations on dining, attractions, and more.
- Maintain the appearance of the shuttle, externally and internally.
- May be assigned to assist with other duties surrounding the shuttle or the hotel operations.
- Light maintenance assistance around the hotel may be required when scheduled between shuttles. Maintenance tasks may include but are not limited to assisting guests with plumbing issues, reprogramming door locks, changing light bulbs, troubleshooting TV and room HVAC units, delivering extra linens, and testing pool chemicals. Other tasks will be described upon interview.
- Must be able to pass a background check related to the responsibilities of the role.
- Previous driving experience in a professional setting is preferred.
- Weekend availability preferred.
