Brainware University is seeking a visionary leader to be the next Vice Chancellor, who will be a distinguished academician along with a strong administrative experience in a private university of repute.

The candidate must have an all-round experience in different senior positions like Dean, Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Director IQAC, Pro-Vice Chancellor/ Vice Chancellor of a private university.

About Brainware University:

- Brainware University is located in Barasat, Greater Kolkata and is at present, the largest university in West Bengal, which offers over 70A+ PhD, PG, UG and Diploma programs to over 16,000 students.

Position:  VICE CHANCELLOR

Barasat, West Bengal, India

Key Responsibilities:

1) The Vice-Chancellor will serve as the principal academic and executive officer of the university, responsible for the development of its academic programs.
2) Must ensure a higher standards of academic quality along with lead efforts in accreditation, regulatory reporting, compliance and administration.
3) He/She will oversee and monitor the administration of these academic programs to ensure the university operates efficiently and maintains good order.
4) The Vice-Chancellor must have established bureaucratic relations with UGC, NAAC, NBA, and higher education authorities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Distinguished academicians with proven track record and a commitment to fostering and promoting excellence in teaching and research in the University, with proven capability and integrity and having a minimum of  fifteen years of experience  in a University system of which at least ten years shall be as a  Professor  or fifteen years of experience in a reputed research.

The candidate must have long administrative experience  (Minimum 10 years as a Pro-VC, Dean, Director, Principal, HOD etc.) , good research publications and completed research projects, industry experience, experience in the skill development field, etc.

Present and former Vice-Chancellors of Universities, Heads of Research Institutions and eminent scholars, corporate heads are invited to send their application.
