Role Overview
We are hiring a Residential Interior Designer to lead the creative vision and execution of kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home renovation projects. This role blends design expertise with client collaboration, ensuring concepts are transformed into functional, build-ready plans that align with both aesthetic and structural requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in residential remodeling projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities- Design kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovation projects from initial concept through execution
- Meet with homeowners to understand design goals, lifestyle needs, and budget considerations
- Develop space planning layouts, finish selections, and visual design presentations
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction teams
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors throughout project phases
- Guide clients through material selections, revisions, and final design approvals
- Ensure designs balance creativity, functionality, and build feasibility
- Maintain organized project files and timelines
- Experience in residential interior design, remodeling, or renovation projects
- Required:
Proficiency in Chief Architect software - Strong design sensibility with attention to detail and functional planning
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, and residential construction processes
- Professional, client-facing communication skills
