Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - BWX Technologies, Inc.

Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for supplier interface to assure product quality.

• Work with Procurement to help maintain oversight on critical suppliers.
• Work with supplier to help identify risks and countermeasures.
• Perform supplier visits to assure product quality as needed.
• Work with suppliers on new programs and assure good communication channels exist.
• Work with suppliers on Corrective and Preventive actions.
• Work with other departments to resolve vendor quality issues.
• Reporting on supplier quality performance.

• 5-10 years' experience in similar professional environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a technical major preferred.
• Should possess solid math/statistical skills, be knowledgeable in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and print reading.
• Experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and assembly preferred but not required.
• Experience or knowledge of inspection techniques including dimensional inspection, NDE methods such as ultrasound, mag particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, and/or radiography preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

Pay: $81,000- $123,000

All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Selected applicants are required to successfully complete a pre-employment check and drug screening.
