Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from initiation through completion by planning, coordinating, and executing work that supports CHM's strategic priorities. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while fostering collaboration across departments and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager drives accountability, manages project risks, and promotes continuous improvement through standardized project management practices.

- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of assigned projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and project documentation to support successful project delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams by assigning responsibilities, facilitating collaboration, and tracking progress toward key milestones.
- Monitor project performance by identifying risks, resolving issues, managing scope changes, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and outcomes to project sponsors, leadership, and key stakeholders through regular updates and reporting.
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenditures, monitoring financial performance, and supporting cost control efforts.
- Ensure compliance with established project governance standards, policies, and approval processes.
- Facilitate organizational change associated with projects by supporting communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes or initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible project management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience developing project plans, managing budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
- Experience identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Working knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred.
- Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives.
- Experience with in healthcare, insurance, or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
