Inspector - Weekend crew; Wheel Plant

Position

Entry‑level full‑time Inspector – production environment, company:
Howmet. Working schedule:
Fri – Sun. Pay: $23.03 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift and $2.00 for night crew.

Entry‑level inspection role within a manufacturing environment; training provided.

• Follow all safety procedures.
• Perform compliance checks and complete paperwork, documentation, and reports.
• Visually inspect wheels for defects or malformations.
• Ensure quality of parts – dimensional requirements per control plan and overall appearance.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Participate in TPM activities.
• Ensure that 5S requirements are met.
• Assist in problem solving of identified problems in the department.

• High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of work experience.
• Training will be provided; entry‑level candidates encouraged.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).

• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Data entry/computer skills.

• Lifting: medium – lift a maximum of 40 pounds occasionally, frequent lifting of 25 pounds.
• Standing: constantly (over 80% of workday).
• Walking: constantly (over 80% of workday).
• Bending and twisting: constantly (over 80% of workday).
• Temperature extremes: constantly (over 80% of workday).
• Noise: constantly (over 80% of workday).
