Wire Drawing Machine Operator

Lingo Staffing is Now Hiring for a Machine Operator in Barberton, OH

Hours: Production Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Rotating Schedule – 36 hrs one week / 48 hrs the next)

Pay: $17.65/hr base (higher based on experience)

We are hiring Machine Operators for a new manufacturing facility in Barberton, OH. This is a long-term opportunity with room for advancement into lead roles for candidates who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow in a 24/7 production environment. Training is provided on dayshift before moving to nights.

• Set up, operate, and monitor wire drawing machines
• Load rod coils onto machine payoffs
• Perform quality inspections throughout the shift
• Complete basic production and inventory paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and production procedures

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Steel-toed boots required
• Must be willing to comply with a national background check

This position requires standing and walking for the entirety of the shift (approximately 2.5+ miles per day), as well as bending, twisting, stooping, lifting, and repetitive motion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
