Inspector - Weekend crew; Wheel Plant

Responsibilities

$23.03/hr & $1.00/hr Shift Differential Day crew & $2.00/hr Shift Differential Night Crew

Working Fri‑Sat & Sun

Entry‑level full‑time inspector role in a production environment. This role includes manufacturing environment tasks and safely operating production equipment to meet quality and production targets. Training provided.

• Follows all safety procedures
• Performs compliance checks and completes paperwork, documentation, and reports
• Visually inspects wheels for defects or malformations
• Ensures the quality of the parts that he/she produces – including the inspection of all dimensional requirements according to the control plan and overall appearance of the parts
• Completes required paperwork
• Participates in TPM activities
• Ensures that 5S requirements are met
• Assists in problem solving of identified problems in the department

Basic Qualifications:

• Training will be provided to the selected candidate; entry level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience.
• Manufacturing experience.

• Lifting:
  Medium – lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 40 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 25 pounds.
• Standing:
  Constantly (greater than 80% of workday)
• Walking:
  Constantly (greater than 80% of workday)
• Bending and Twisting:

• Temperature Extremes:
