Manual Welder; SMAW, GTAW

We are currently hiring a qualified manual SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG) welder for our facility in Barberton, Ohio
. The welder selected for this position will set up and perform extremely critical welds using stick, TIG, electric arc and heliarc welding processes to produce pressure and strength welds in all positions. Maintaining strict compliance to technical documentation and instructions is required. Control of welding parameters, interpass cleaning and preheating is required.

• High school diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience performing similar welding tasks.
• Lesser experience with formal training and/or certification may be considered.
• Must successfully complete a pre‑employment weld screen.
• Must have the ability to read and understand manufacturing prints and weld data sheets.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must successfully complete a pre‑employment physical, drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable federal eligibility requirements for access to classified or sensitive information.

Hourly rate up to $39.22 per hour, complemented by a generous benefits package. Upon an offer, a relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
