Saw Operator 3rd shift

Basic Qualifications:

* Training will be provided to the selected candidate! Entry level candidates encouraged to apply!

* Ability to read and understand all warning labels, JSA and MSDS

* Ability to be Mobile Equipment and LOTOV Certified

* Ability to work in a team environment.

* 1 years manufacturing experience

* High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years work experience

* Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Foundry or casting experience is preferred

* Manufacturing experience

WHAT IS A CAST HOUSE?

The Cast House is a structure that holds an aluminum smelter. Howmet Aerospace's smelters are among the safest in the world. Our modern aluminum smelter will require trained and skilled operators.

Position Summary:

Operates production equipment to meet quality and production targets. This position will require operators to regularly rotate between duties.

Essential Duties:

* Follows all safety procedures

* Operates one or more pieces of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality products while keeping a quick pace

* Performs compliance checks and completes paperwork, documentation and reports

* Completes required paperwork

* Participates in TPM activities

* Ensures that 5S requirements are met

* Assists in problem solving of identified problems in the department

* Clean equipment and lubricate to keep in like-new condition.

* Inspects equipment to identify and correct potential failures.

* Use error-proof/mistake-proof techniques to prevent failure.

* Identify, respond to, document problems and resolve to root cause.

* Analyze equipment performance data (via computer) to improve performance.
