Tow Motor Operator

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/GED (from an accredited institution).

* Previous tow motor experience required

* Ability to pay close attention to detail and operate vehicle safely

* Ability to follow all instructions, rules, and regulations regarding safety

Physical Demands:

* Lifting :
Some lifting (less than 20% of workday)

* Standing:
Infrequently (less than 20% of workday)

* Walking:
Infrequently (less than 20% of workday)

* Bending and Twisting:
Minimal or none

* Noise (percent of time working in noisy, production environment): 100% (PPE required).

Position Summary:

This entry level role will be responsible for manufacturing environment and safely operate production equipment to meet quality and production targets. Training will be provided.

Essential Duties:

* Follows all safety procedures

* Conduct pre-shift inspection of assigned forklift (to identify safety and maintenance concerns). Concerns are reported to Maintenance personnel

* Operates fork lift - bringing applicable materials to all functional areas by responding to radio calls and prepping work stations.

* Utilize a scanner to scan inbound and outbound product for location tracking (in Oracle ERP/WIP Management)

* Load and unload product from incoming/outgoing trailers.

Additional Duties:

* Complete shipping paperwork and inspections.
