Job Summary
Job Title:
Burner - Mechanical Fabrication Shop
S.A. Comunale is seeking a Burner to support the Mechanical Fabrication Shop. The primary function of this role is to cut and groove pipe for fabrication. This position is represented by the Plumbers and Pipe fitters Local Union #219.
This role requires working in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Review pipe required for job area.
- Call in pipe from the yard.
- Cut pipe to length and groove/thread.
- Read blueprints and sketches and handle pipe accordingly.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop is required.
- Experience with basic computer systems is required; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
