Industrial Machine Repair Technician (Millwright)

• Maintain and repair plant area machines, tools, and equipment, diagnosing mechanical, piping, and minor electrical malfunctions.
• Make or assist in the installation of all types of equipment, including repositioning existing machinery and original installation of new equipment, and perform precision alignment.
• Test run machines and equipment while diagnosing or making repairs prior to release for production.
• Perform carpentry, rigging, welding, brazing, burning, and heating duties as required.
• Move material and equipment to and from work areas using any transportable means.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, repair manuals, bills of material, and written or verbal instructions from management or employees being assisted.
• Detect and report faulty operation and defective materials.
• Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean and orderly.
• Maintain and sign necessary records as required.

• Must first complete and achieve an acceptable score on a written Millwright exam, and pass an additional mechanical comprehension online assessment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency required, plus a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in industrial maintenance; lesser experience with formal training and/or certifications may be acceptable.
• Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Must be able to climb to any height.
• Must be open and available to work all shifts.
• Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check prior to hire date.
• Must effectively take instruction from management and supervision.
• Must possess the skills necessary to complete detailed records and maintain appropriate documentation.
• All candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Pay: $43.68 per hour. The total compensation package may also include a full range of medical, retirement, and other benefits. A relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
