CNC Lathe Machinist (1st Shift)

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday) Pay:
Up to $28/hour (based on experience)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can take a part from print to completion. This role requires someone who can set up, operate, and program at the machine in a fast-paced job shop environment. If you enjoy working on a variety of custom parts rather than repetitive production work, this is a great opportunity.

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts
• Program and edit programs at the machine (G-code or conversational)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Make adjustments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Required:
  
  CNC Lathe experience in a job shop environment
• Ability to set up, operate, and program at the machine
• Experience reading blueprints and working with tight tolerances
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling

• Experience with Mazak lathes / Mazatrol programming

• 1st shift schedule – no nights or weekends
