Barberton Mancan is seeking finishers to join an exceptional metal fabrication company in Barberton.

1st shift 7am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday $17.00 per hour

This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity.

Position Summary:

The End Finisher will operate either manual machines or semi-auto machines including hydraulic presses, tube bending equipment, tube forming equipment, and tube sawing equipment to fabricate steel and stainless steel tubes to customer specifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.

• Reviews work orders for quality and accuracy; according to specifications.

• Notify department head when problems arise to resolve issues with customer orders.

• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills needed:

• Efficient use of tape measure and micrometer.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Good math (counting) and written communication skills.

• Efficient time management skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• At least two years of related warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to work long periods on your feet.

• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time.

• Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.

Must pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
