About the LPN RoleAs an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment, promoting long‑term recovery. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our residents.
Responsibilities- Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician.
- Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed.
- Give and interpret Mantoux Testing.
- Make appointments for clients to see physician, provide lab work and referrals for additional follow‑up care.
- Assist in training staff on medical and health‑and‑safety matters and in maintaining medical equipment.
- Provide training for staff development specific to health‑care needs (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure).
- Purchase and order medical supplies.
- Educate clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification, side effects, and lab results.
- Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and assist primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.

- High School/GED or better.
- Driver's License.
- LPN license.
- Compliance with MAT (Medication‑Assisted Treatment) program protocols (training is provided).
- Regional travel up to 75% may be required to provide facility support.
