Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator

Job Summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator. In this role, you will work in the mechanic garage performing duties to ensure efficient shop operation, maintain equipment organization in the yard, and promote safety during lift and vehicle movement. Duties include general staging and moving equipment, placing equipment in proper locations, cleaning equipment, and picking up material from vendors if needed.

• Safely drive lifts, lulls, tow-motors, and vehicles.
• Organization of equipment yard.
• Bringing equipment to the mechanics as needed.
• Running equipment prior to shipment.
• Staging of equipment for shipment.
• Drive Company vehicles to run errands when needed.
• Power wash returned equipment as needed.
• Be aware of surroundings to work safely.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of related work experience is required.
• Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a current DOT Medical Card is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clear driving record is required.
• Previous experience operating lifts, tow-motor and forklift is a plus.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
• Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.
