Shift : 8:30am - 5:00pm

• Locates parts/merchandise and pulls from inventory demonstrating an understanding of the Hollander parts numbering system and warehouse locations according to customer work order or sales invoice.
• Audits automotive parts/merchandise to order specifications.
• Verifies part condition and damage against order using ARA damage locators as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.
• Manages inventory efficiently and effectively by placing merchandise in an organized and understandable manner, verifying quality when parts are put into inventory and ensuring tags are visible.
• Prepares parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping and packaging to prevent damage.
• Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer’s order specifications.
• Continuously audits inventory using our state of the art software and resolves any discrepancies.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.

Certificates and Licenses: Forklift certification. Training and certification available.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier merchandise lifting devices and/or assistance is required.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. This is a smoke free environment for safety reasons. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
