Qualifications- Three (3) years of successful experience working with students with demonstrated evidence of and potential for success in administrative/supervisory responsibilities.
- Kentucky Education Certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current instructional design and student engagement models.
Serves as the foundational anchor for campus story, environment, and community connection. This administrator operationalizes shared leadership capacity to ensure that 100% of 6-12 students are engaged, empowered, and fully networked across the school and community.
Key Performance Metrics- Percentage of students and families demonstrating a high sense of belonging and engagement in the school community.
- Percentage of students highly engaged in student organizations.
Align actions with district and school values and core priorities. Evaluated based on the efficacy of aligned actions.
Performance Responsibilities- Create a powerful campus storyline that connects local initiatives directly to the goals of the district, routinely sharing the school's story with the wider community.
- Drive initiatives that foster a strong sense of school culture, active engagement, and deep belonging for all 6-12 students and their families, shifting students from quietly compliant to engaged and networked across the community.
- Lead, support, and coordinate a diverse ecosystem of teams including the Facility Team, Student Life Lead, Athletic Coordinator, Student Organization Lead, and Athletic Coaches.
- Conduct regular classroom fly-bys and program quality reviews to support teachers with real‑time proactive engagement frameworks.
- Design, plan, and execute powerful cultural programming, story, and campus‑wide events that connect and celebrate students and families.
- Partner with the Campus Director and the Work and Life Ready Coordinator to ensure student engagement strategies align with overarching academic, resource, and programmatic goals.
- Own and improve the primary performance metric of increasing the overall percentage of engaged students and families across the campus.
- Foster deep, ongoing relationships with alumni and community partners tied to Uniting People, Place & Purpose, leveraging their shared history and passion to champion the mission, mentor current participants, and expand regional impact.
- Partner with educators in 1:1 Wingman co‑design and co‑teaching labs to tightly align active, pathway‑based learning with school culture expectations.
- Handle behavioral issues, violations of the student handbook, and academic integrity policies, leaning heavily on accountability and personal growth rather than punishment.
- Oversee student government, campus clubs, Greek life, and intramural sports; train student leaders in budget management, event planning, and conflict resolution.
- Champion the school culture, ensuring every student finds a sub‑community or club where they feel safe; facilitate student‑led dialogue around citizenship.
- Collaborate and connect with community partners to unite people, place, and purpose.
- Assist students who are struggling or overwhelmed to learn how to communicate with teachers and manage their academic load during tough times.
- Ensure financial stewardship in all systems and structures for each revenue source.
- Explicitly state and model beliefs as a building leader.
- Continuously find ways to share the school's story with the world that celebrate and honor the gifts of the community.
