The Bardstown-Nelson County Planning and Zoning Commission is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Planner. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and development activities of the Bardstown-Nelson County Planning and Zoning Commission. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in administering the activities of the Planning Commission, Boards of Adjustments, and Development Review Board, conducting research and analysis to support planning initiatives, preparing and presenting reports, presentations, and recommendations to decision-making bodies, participating in public meetings while recording the meeting minutes, maintenance of official records and files.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate/GED. Associate’s degree preferred;
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant planning experience.
• Salary: $60,000
