Job Overview
Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency by performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, prioritizing safety and quality standards. They must possess strong mechanical capabilities and a technical mindset, and be flexible to rotate across various areas of the bakery. Ongoing training to adapt to evolving technology and performance standards is required.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, and maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe).
- Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches, brakes, etc.
- Verify and correct mechanical timing.
- Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Identify mechanical wear and troubleshoot, replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
- Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry.
- Practice environmental and maintenance programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
- Perform other duties as deemed integral to the job, including work schedules, attendance policies, and applicable operating rules.
- Possess or attain required licenses to work with boilers, refrigeration components, and related equipment.
- 1+ year of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Technical/Trade School certification or diploma is a plus.
Salary Range
: $31–$36 per hour
