• Assist customers in finding and discovering new products, enhancing their shopping experience.
• Inform customers about food specials and make recommendations to help them choose items they need.
• Ensure product quality by checking freshness and addressing any issues with products nearing their sell‑by dates.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Stay up-to-date with current promotions, seasonal items, and specials to effectively assist customers.
• Uphold all food safety regulations and ensure proper temperatures in food storage areas.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers by providing knowledgeable answers to their inquiries.
• Identify and report any unsafe conditions to ensure a safe environment for both customers and employees.
• Engage with customers of all backgrounds, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults, with empathy and respect.

• Strong customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction) are essential.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
