Multiskilled HVAC/Plumbing Engineer

Employment Type:

Ongoing Contract / Temp-to-Perm (adjust as needed)

Our client is a leading facilities management provider, and we are supporting them in the recruitment of a Multiskilled HVAC/Plumbing Engineer to join their engineering team.

This role offers a mix of reactive and planned maintenance across a busy, modern site, with the opportunity to support neighbouring locations when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out mechanical remedial works across a range of M&E building services.

* Attend site to diagnose and rectify mechanical/HVAC-related faults.

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the client’s schedules and industry standards.

* Ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed to a high, professional standard.

* Produce accurate technical and situational reports when required.

* Utilise the client’s CAFM/technology systems to maintain compliance and accurate records.

* Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site teams and client representatives.

* Attend team briefings and meetings as required by the client.

* Uphold the client’s professional image at all times.

* Escalate any major issues or incidents to the relevant manager promptly.

* Work safely and in compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Experienced in HVAC and plumbing within a facilities, building services, or industrial environment.

* Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.

* Confident working independently across a busy, fast-paced site.

* Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

* Strong understanding of PPM practices and compliance requirements.

* Health & Safety aware, with a proactive approach to safe working.
