Mobile HGV​/LCV Technician

Salary: £21.00 - £25.00 per hour

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a skilled HGV Mobile Technician to join a growing and successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of HGVs, LCVs and trailers at customer locations.
 
The role will involve working on a variety of powered assets, including trucks with different configurations and specifications, as well as trailers including double-deck and moving-floor trailers.

The Role:

· Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and trailers

· Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

· Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

· Work on a variety of trailers, including double-deck and moving-floor equipment

· Accurately complete compliance records and job information using an electronic tablet

· Work in line with company procedures, risk assessments and health and safety requirements

· Liaise directly with customers and provide a professional service

· Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For:

· Previous experience working on HGV and LCV vehicles

· Experience with trailers is highly desirable

· IRTEC registration is advantageous, although training can be provided

· Tail lift and/or moving-floor experience is desirable

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

· Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Good understanding of health and safety procedures
