Position: Part-Time Housekeeping Supervisor — Lead a Forest Cabin Team

Overview

Join us at Keldy Forest in North Yorkshire where the cabin stays are located deep within a peaceful forest setting. We offer a part‑time role for a Housekeeping Supervisor, working 13 hours per week on Monday and Friday from 9:30am to 4pm.

    Monday and Friday, 9:30am–4pm
Responsibilities
  • Provide support and motivation to the Housekeeping Team to maintain high morale and productivity.
  • Deliver training to the team, ensuring they are equipped to meet our high standards.
  • Ensure each cabin is stocked with the correct inventory and meets cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Conduct basic health and safety checks, such as inspecting smoke alarms and fire extinguishers.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cabin cleanliness, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning position, or similar, is essential.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • A passion for the outdoors and motivation to work in all weather conditions.
  • A positive, can‑do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with colleagues.
  • Willingness to take initiative and support the team as needed.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards.
  • Desire to work outdoors in a natural setting and contribute to the team’s success.
