We’re looking for passionate, qualified Electricians in the South Yorkshire area to join our brilliant team at Yorkshire Housing. As an Electrician you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of tenants, ensuring safety, comfort and pride in every home you service.

• £40,057.61 per year for 37.5 hours per week
• On‑call rota paying £286.65 per week plus call‑out and overtime opportunities

You’ll undertake all electrical work streams which include electrical repairs and alterations to existing fittings and fixtures, rewiring partial or full properties – both in empty and occupied houses – and conduct inspections, testing and certification of every electrical component and installation. Planned installs such as lighting upgrades and heating upgrades will also be part of your remit.

You will use your own initiative to problem‑solve smaller on‑site issues, while collaborating closely with other trades, administrators and suppliers. As the face of Yorkshire Housing to many tenants, respectful, warm and professional communication is essential.

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or recognised equivalent qualification)
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th edition)
• NVQ in Electro technical Services & AM2 Certification
• 2391‑51 Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations Level 3 (or recognised equivalent or greater qualification)
• Valid UK driving licence
