Solar PV Electrician

Birchwell Associates is working with an expanding renewable energy business that is looking to add an experienced Solar PV Electrician to its team across Kent and the surrounding South East. The company delivers both domestic and commercial Solar PV installations , and this position will suit an electrician who is confident taking responsibility for the electrical side of projects from installation through to testing and commissioning.

Youll be joining a growing renewables team with a varied pipeline of work across the region.

The Role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Installing electrical components for Solar PV systems Working across domestic and commercial installations Completing AC and DC electrical works Installing and commissioning inverters Testing and inspecting completed systems Fault finding and remedial works Supporting battery storage installations Reading technical drawings and installation specifications Ensuring all work meets current electrical regulations Working alongside installation and project teams

What Were Looking For Were interested in speaking with qualified electricians who have practical experience within Solar PV and want to continue developing their career in renewable energy. Ideally, youll have:
Previous Solar PV installation experience NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent 18th Edition Good testing and fault-finding capability Domestic and/or commercial electrical experience Knowledge of PV systems, inverters and associated equipment Strong attention to safety and quality Ability to manage work independently on site Full UK driving licence

Experience with battery storage, EV charging or larger commercial Solar PV projects would be advantageous.
