Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seasonal and Substitute Proctor is a part-time position that supports functions within the Student Services and Enrollment Management Division including the Testing and Career Services Office, proctoring placement assessments and third-party tests and providing administrative support to the Testing and Career Services Office during peak testing/registration periods.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:- Provide student-centered customer service and support.
- Monitor and maintain a quiet and secure testing environment.
- Conduct basic data integrity and input activities.
- Acquire and annually renew proctoring certifications on multiple test platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned within Student Services and Enrollment Management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dedication to providing student-centered customer service.
- Understanding of the mission of Cape Cod Community College.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite;
Word, Excel, and Outlook and Web-streaming services (i.e., Zoom, Teams, etc.) - Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work calmly and patiently with students and members of the College community, and to work effectively with a diverse population.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent telephone and e-mail communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
COMPENSATION
: $20 per hour, variable hours depending on enrollment cycle, but not more than 18 hours per week. Part-time, non-benefited, non-unit position.
