Overview
Job Summary:
We are looking for kind and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team of professional healthcare staff. You will assist patients with daily tasks while making a meaningful difference in their lives. This position involves providing care across diverse healthcare settings, including home care, long term care, acute, sub-acute, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, and assisted living facilities. Assist patients short term while making a long lasting impact!

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Meal Prep:
Planning, cooking, and feeding according to specific dietary restrictions. - Assisting with transportation for errands, doctor’s visit, outings etc.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
- Dementia experience required to understand patient needs effectively.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is maintained.
- Experience in home care, nursing homes or hospice care settings is a plus.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is highly desirable.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems like Epic or eClinical
