The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist visually impaired adults in the Barnstable area. Volunteers may help with tasks such as reading, grocery shopping, and providing medical transportation.
This role is relationship-building and task-oriented, typically requiring a commitment of 1-2 hours a week or every other week. Volunteers will undergo an onboarding process including training and a matching meeting with a participant.
