Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-time Overnight Position (11p-7a)

Join the Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center team as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Centerville! Our facility provides high-quality care and rehabilitation services to our residents, and we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team.

Base pay is $40 an hour and then there is a $2.50 differential on weekdays and $4 on weekends. Weekly pay.

Job Summary

As an LPN at Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, you will provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). You will also supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Our LPN team members work closely with our healthcare providers, families, and other staff members to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
  • Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care
  • Follow physician's orders and perform various nursing tasks, including administering medication and treatments
  • Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
  • Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
  • Monitor and report any unusual or significant findings to the RN
  • Administer medication according to procedure
  • Maintain accurate and safe control of all drugs for which you are responsible
  • Initiate emergency procedures as necessary
  • Demonstrate correct safety techniques and respect facility equipment
  • Contribute to effective communication and positive working conditions
  • Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies & Procedures, protecting residents' individual health information
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
  • Must be CPR certified

    Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in Massachusetts
