Lead Educators for Grant-Funded High School Credit Recovery Summer Programming

Job DescriptionQuabbin Regional High School is seeking certified educators to provide intensive and targeted instruction during our credit recovery programming.
Abilities required:
- Plan instruction and assessments focused on a limited number of priority standards.
- Build strong relationships with students.
- Personalize instruction to meet the abilities and needs of individual students.
- Provide frequent and timely feedback to students focused on improvement and growth.
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, students, and families to determine best practices and strategies for improving student achievement.
- Implement culturally and linguistically responsive teaching strategies.
- Implement strong classroom management practices.
- Regularly report student progress and complete student record and data collection.
Requirements:
- Highly qualified, MA certified teachers in English and Math.
- Preference will be given to Quabbin Regional School District employees.

Schedule and Compensation:
Credit Recovery sessions will run for 3 hours per day (Monday through Thursday) for 5 weeks from July 6 through August
6. Morning sessions will be held from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and afternoon sessions from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Educators may apply to teach one or two courses, and there is potential for educators to share a position.
One hour of paid prep time will be provided each day.
Pay: $3,200 per course listed above.

Job Requirements- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
