The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking an experienced special education teacher who has DESE certification at the high school level for the 2026-27 school year. Responsibilities include writing IEPs, conducting achievement assessments, and collaborating with general education teachers. This role serves students with multiple disabilities, using strategies to meet learning and behavioral requirements for individuals and groups. The candidate should have experience with students with moderate to severe cognitive challenges, providing multi-modal support in enacting behavior and safety plans, establishing positive relationships, understanding diverse learning profiles, and addressing social/emotional needs within educational programming.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (preferred)
